Due to icy road conditions and fallen trees, we strongly advise avoiding travel unless absolutely necessary.

The Baltimore Recreation Centre (23 Community Centre Road) and Bewdley Community Centre (7060 Lake Street) are open today from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. for residents to fill water, charge devices, and warm up. Road and emergency crews are actively working to keep roads safe and clear. We appreciate your patience as they continue their efforts. Stay clear of fallen trees, branches and damaged electrical equipment. Half Load Restrictions

Half Load Restrictions are in place from Monday, March 3, 2025 and will be in place until mid/end of April 2025. All roads within the jurisdiction of the Township of Hamilton will be subject to weight restrictions of 5 tonne per axle (Half Loads) as per Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act, Chapter H8 as amended.

This restriction is in place to help preserve the roads during the Spring Thaw.

Water Supply Master Plan

The Township of Hamilton has initiated a Master Planning process to develop a Water Supply Master Plan.

Water Supply Master Plan Phase 1 Report now available as of Feb 28/2025.

The first Public Information Centre was held Thursday, September 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Baltimore Recreation Centre.
